Sports injury treatment.

Sports Injury Clinic South West London

Helping you recover properly, get back to training stronger than before
When you’re used to being active, injury is more than just pain. It’s the sessions you’re missing, the progress you’re losing, and the frustration of not knowing when or whether things will improve.
The good news is that most sports injuries, whether they come on suddenly or build over time, respond well to a structured assessment and the right rehabilitation plan.

We regularly assess and treat conditions including:

  • Running Injuries
  • Gym and Weightlifting Injuries
  • Muscle Strains and Tears
  • Ligament Sprains and Joint Injuries
  • Return to Sport Rehabilitation

Your first session focuses on understanding how the injury developed, how your body is moving under load, and what needs to change for a full, sustainable recovery. Ready to get back to it? Book your appointment online and let’s get started.

Understanding sports injuries.

Sports injuries fall into two broad categories, but both benefit from the same structured approach.
Gradual onset injuries develop through repetitive strain or a sudden spike in training load, think shin pain that builds through a running block, or a tendon that starts complaining after weeks of increased gym volume. These often signal that load has outpaced the body’s capacity to adapt.
Acute injuries happen suddenly. A twist, a fall, a collision, and commonly affect ligaments or muscles such as ankle sprains or muscle strains involving the hamstring, calf or quadriceps.
In both cases, the underlying drivers matter as much as the injury itself.

Common contributing factors include:

  • Sudden increases in training volume or intensity
  • Inadequate recovery between sessions
  • Weakness or imbalance through key areas
  • Reduced mobility or movement control
  • Previous injury that hasn’t fully rehabilitated

The hip, knee and ankle frequently influence one another which is why we assess the whole body, not just the painful area.

How we help.

Understand how the injury happened

We assess how your injury developed, your training history and how your body moves under load, evaluating key areas such as the hip, knee and ankle that often influence injury patterns.
You’ll leave your first appointment with a clear diagnosis and a structured plan for getting back to full activity.

Treat what’s actually driving it

Treatment is built around what your assessment tells us, not a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether that’s managing load in tendon-related injuries, restoring movement following a ligament sprain, or addressing the mechanics driving a running injury, the focus is always on what will make the biggest difference for you.
We’re aiming to get you back to competing, not just back to walking around pain-free.

Return to sport, stronger than before

Getting out of pain is only part of the picture. We guide you through structured, progressive rehabilitation to rebuild strength, load tolerance and movement confidence, so you can return to training safely, reduce the risk of recurrence and perform at your best.
This is especially important if you’re targeting a return to running, gym training, or a specific sport, or if injuries keep recurring despite time off.

When should you seek help?

Worth getting checked out if:

  • Pain develops during or after training
  • Symptoms persist beyond a week or two
  • Running or lifting has become uncomfortable
  • You’re modifying training to work around pain
  • Injuries keep coming back

If you’ve experienced a significant trauma, are unable to bear weight, or have noticed sudden severe swelling or instability, please seek urgent medical assessment.

Take the next step.

If injury is keeping you out of training, book your appointment online and take the first step towards getting back to full strength.
