Southwest London headache & migraine clinic
Helping you get to the root of your headaches and find lasting relief
Headaches and migraines can significantly affect your concentration, sleep, work and quality of life. When they keep coming back, they can start to feel like something you simply have to put up with.
You don’t.
Many people are surprised to learn that headaches are often linked to the neck, jaw or surrounding muscles, particularly in cases such as cervicogenic headaches or tension headaches. Understanding what’s driving your symptoms is the first step towards addressing them.
We regularly assess and treat conditions including:
- Tension Headache
- Cervicogenic Headache
- Migraine
- TMJ-Related Headaches
- Occipital Headaches
Your first session focuses on understanding not just where your headaches are felt, but what may be contributing to them.

Understanding your headaches.
Headaches aren’t all the same, and the type you experience can point towards different causes.
Tension-type headaches are often described as a tight band or pressure around the head, commonly linked to muscle tension or prolonged positions such as headache after computer use or screen work.
Cervicogenic headaches originate from the neck and are frequently associated with movement or posture often triggered or worsened by turning the head or sitting a certain way for too long.
Migraines may involve throbbing pain, light sensitivity and nausea. Some patients also experience migraine with neck pain, which highlights the role the cervical spine can play.
Common contributing factors include:
- Prolonged desk work and sustained postures
- Muscle tension and stress
- Jaw tension or teeth grinding
- Reduced sleep quality
- Previous neck injury

How we help.
Get to the root of your headaches
We assess neck movement, muscle tension, and contributing factors, including posture, jaw mechanics, and stress particularly where the pattern points to cervical involvement rather than a purely tension-based cause.
You’ll come away from your first session with a clear picture of what’s triggering your headaches and a plan to address it.
Treat the underlying driver
Treatment is tailored to you, reducing muscle tension and improving joint mobility through techniques chosen specifically for the pattern your assessment reveals, not a generic headache protocol.
We’re focused on recovery, not just getting you through the day.
Reduce how often they return
Managing headaches long-term means improving how the neck and surrounding muscles tolerate load. We work with you on strength, posture, movement, and trigger management to reduce recurrence, particularly in cases of chronic or recurrent headaches or symptoms linked to stress or posture.

When should you seek help?
Consider a professional assessment if:
- Headaches are becoming more frequent or severe
- Pain is affecting your concentration or sleep
- Neck movement aggravates your symptoms
- Episodes keep returning
If you experience a sudden, severe headache unlike anything you’ve had before, any changes in vision, speech or coordination, or headaches following a head injury, please seek urgent medical assessment.
